Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Unafi ("Unafi", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our marketing website, our platform, and related services (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect information such as your name, email address, company name, and password credentials. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor collects billing details on our behalf (see "Third-party processors" below); Unafi does not store full payment card numbers.

Workspace content

The Services are a marketing platform, so your workspace contains the content you and your team create or upload: plans, campaigns, drafts, published pages, media files, contact records, messages, notes, and configuration.

Connected-service data

When you connect third-party services to your workspace (for example email delivery, social accounts, advertising accounts, or analytics), we receive and store the data those connections provide, as authorized by you, in order to operate the features you enable.

Usage information

We collect information about how the Services are used — such as log data, device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, features used, and actions taken in the platform (including actions taken by Unafi, which are recorded in your workspace's action history). We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including the work you ask the platform and Unafi to perform;
Process transactions and manage subscriptions;
Communicate with you about your account, support requests, and service updates;
Monitor, secure, and improve the Services, including debugging and abuse prevention;
Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. AI processing

Unafi is an AI-operated platform. When you or your team ask Unafi to perform work, relevant customer content from your workspace (for example a campaign brief, a draft, or contact segments) is processed by AI models in order to perform that requested work. This processing happens to deliver the feature you invoked.

We do not use your customer content to train AI models without your consent. Where you bring your own AI provider keys, your content is processed under your agreement with that provider. For more detail on how Unafi operates, see our AI Usage Policy.

4. Third-party processors

We rely on a limited set of service providers to run the Services. Categories include:

Hosting and infrastructure — cloud providers that host our application and databases;
Payments — Stripe, which processes subscription payments and stores payment credentials;
Email delivery — providers that deliver transactional and, where you enable it, marketing email;
AI model providers — the model providers used to power Unafi's work, either Unafi-managed or configured by you with your own keys.

Each processor receives only the data needed to perform its function and is bound by contractual obligations regarding data protection.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for session and authentication, preference cookies to remember your settings, and first-party analytics cookies to understand how the Services are used. We do not run third-party advertising cookies on our marketing site. See the Cookie Policy for details and controls.

6. Data retention

We retain account information and workspace content for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information and workspace content within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, or billing-record purposes. You can request deletion sooner (see "Your rights" below).

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you;
Correct inaccurate information;
Delete your personal information;
Export your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@unafi.io. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If you are a team member of a Unafi customer, we may direct your request to the workspace owner, who controls that workspace's data.

8. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards — such as contractual data-protection clauses with our processors — for international transfers of personal information.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and tenant-level isolation of workspace data. No system is perfectly secure; if you discover a vulnerability, please report it to security@unafi.io.

10. Children

The Services are not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify account owners by email or an in-product notice before the changes take effect. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
