Terms of service

Effective date: July 28, 2026

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Unafi platform, websites, and related services (the "Services") provided by Unafi ("Unafi", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity by team members you invite and work performed by Unafi at your team's direction. If you create an account on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Acceptable use

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms. In summary: no spam or unsolicited messaging without proper consent, no deceptive marketing, no illegal or infringing content, and no abuse of the platform's security or of messaging channels. We may suspend or restrict accounts that violate the Acceptable Use Policy.

3. Subscriptions and billing

  • Plans. The Services are offered on the plans described on our pricing page, including a free plan and paid subscriptions.
  • Trials. Paid plans may include a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and the payment method on file is charged.
  • Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled.
  • Cancellation. You can cancel at any time through self-service billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.
  • Changes. We may change plan pricing or features with advance notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

4. Your content and AI-generated work product

The Services include Unafi, an AI teammate that performs marketing work in your workspace at your team's direction — drafting, editing, publishing, and reporting. You direct what Unafi does and control its autonomy level, approvals, and guardrails.

You are responsible for reviewing and approving work product before you rely on it or publish it. Unafi provides the tools; you and your team remain responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the content you publish, the messages you send, and the marketing you run — whether created by hand or with Unafi's assistance.

5. Intellectual property

  • Your content. You own the content you create in or upload to your workspace, including content produced with Unafi's assistance and the websites you publish through the Services. You grant Unafi a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the Services.
  • Our platform. Unafi owns the Services, including the software, design, and branding. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services during your subscription. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the platform except as permitted by law.

6. Service availability

We work to keep the Services available and performant, but the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular marketing outcome will be achieved.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unafi will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, arising out of or related to the Services. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unafi's total aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the amounts you paid to Unafi for the Services in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms (including the Acceptable Use Policy) or where required by law, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends; data deletion follows the process described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Unafi is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable law grants you rights to a different forum.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify account owners by email or an in-product notice before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
